CBERProfessor Dr. Sheikh Abdur Rahim

I obtained the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Degrees from the Department of Management, Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka respectively in 2019, 2005, and 2003 and received awards and scholarships for excellent academic performance.
 
I joined R. P. Shaha University in 2024 and I’m serving as the Professor and Head of the Department of Business Administration; Member of the Academic Council; Member of the Syndicate; Member of the Selection & Promotion Board, Director of Kumudini Skills Development Institute and Director of International Affairs to date. Before joining R.P. Shaha University, I served Southeast University, Daffodil International University, Eastern University, Patuakhali Science and Technology University, Southeast University and Victoria University of Bangladesh as the Director of the Program, Head of the Department, Director of the Division, Member of the Syndicate, Member of the Academic Council, Additional Director of the IQAC, Head of the IQAC, Associate Editor of the Journal, Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Senior Lecturer, Lecturer, Departmental Representative etc. 
    
I got the Mother Teresa Golden Award -2024 from Bangladesh Human Rights Welfare Society for Special Contribution to Develop the Society; Nepal-Bangladesh Friendship Award-2023 for Special Contribution to Develop the Education Sector; International Research Award-2022 (Best Researcher Award) from the INSO, Chennai, India; PhD Supervisor’s Recognition -2019, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh; Program Coordinator and President Recognition -2019, World Business Institute, Australia for outstanding presentation on a research paper in the International Conference; Session Chair Award-2019, 4th International Conference on Globalization, Entrepreneurship and Emerging Economies, Daffodil International University, Dhaka, Bangladesh; Research Award - 2018 from the authority of Daffodil International University for a research paper published in the SCOPUS Indexed Journal;  Executive Chair of the Centre for Business and Economic Research, London, UK Recognition-2016 for outstanding presentation on a research paper in the International Conference; Master’s General Merit Scholarship from the University of Dhaka for outstanding result in the BBA Final Examination; Dean’s Merit List Semester Award from the Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka; and the Scholarship from the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dhaka for outstanding result in the S.S.C. Examination.

Currently, I am serving as the Editor/Reviewer of different renowned international journals. Thirty research articles of mine have been published in different national and international high-quality indexed/peer- reviewed journals. In addition, eight international conference papers have also been published in the USA, UK, Thailand, and Nepal.
